Chapter 1: the Arrival

The most sought after basketball prospect of all time. The then, SV-SM forward LeBron James. In LeBron's senior year he averaged 31.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 3.4 steals per game, and a high school career high of 52 points. After the Cleveland Cavaliers won the first overall pick in the NBA draft with a 22.50 percent probability, they opted to draft LeBron James. The rookie phenom inked  a 7 year deal with Nike worth 90 million dollars. Nike put the brand in the young rookies hands to bring it to levels that could potentially reach Michael Jordan's. The Air Zoom Generation was the first signature basketball shoe of the LeBron line. Tinker hatfield used LeBron's H2 Hummer as inspiration in designing the shoe. It originally released on November 5th, 2003 at $110. 



On October 29th, 2003, the first game of his professional career, LeBron posted an MVP caliber performance. 25 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals against the heavily armed Sacramento Kings. 



Boosting the Cavs to a 35-47 record while also obtaining the leagues rookie of the year trophy. The 2003-2004 rookie season for King James was one for the ages.
